Known quirks
- Faster A8-era silicon but identical case to the 2G
- Maxed at iOS 5.1.1 — last with 'classic' skeuomorphic UI
- Sold briefly as the '32 GB-only' iPod Touch
- Still no camera (that arrived on the 4G Touch)
